Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Internal Audit - Professional Practices, the primary responsibilities of this position are to support overall Internal Audit back-office efficiency, assist with audit preparation, and support administration of the Audit Management System.
Major Responsibilities
  • Assist with engagement preparation, including creation of audit engagement templates and announcements for all regions.
  • Assist the audit teams by retrieving select pre-audit information from various sources.
  • Distribution of audit reports and engagement results tracking.
  • Monitor and track auditor time and auditee feedback.
  • Assist with administration within the Audit Management System.
  • Potential to assist with performance of audit engagements during peak resource requirements.
  • Contribute to other improvement initiatives and projects pursued by the Professional Practices Team designed to support efficiency and effectiveness of the audit teams.
  • Various office administrative responsibilities.

Knowledge and Education
  • Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to respond to internal requests for support and assistance in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Attentive to detail, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner due to access to information of a sensitive nature.
  • Strong personal values, ethics, and integrity consistent with those of Magna's core values.

Work Environment
  • Standard office environment.
  • No travel required.

Compensation
  • This position offers an hourly wage of $20.00.
