About the Role

As a Treasury Intern at Element Fleet Management, you will play an integral role in supporting our financial operations and optimizing reporting processes. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects such as streamlining processes and assisting with financial reporting. This role offers a hands-on learning experience in a dynamic and fast-paced professional environment.  

 

What you will be Doing: 

  • Assist in optimizing data cleaning and automation processes using tools such as Alteryx and Power Query.  

  • Contribute to the preparation and enhancement of monthly reporting processes leveraging advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial statements.  

  • Attend meetings with key stakeholders and leadership.  

  • Assist with various tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor.  

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Currently enrolled in a commerce or related university program with a strong foundation in finance, accounting, or business management.  

  • Proficiency in financial tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Power Query, and PowerBI,  

  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and experience working with financial statements.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to streamline processes effectively.  

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.  

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.  

The hiring base salary range for this position is $38,800 - $48,750 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.  Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.   

 

Job Type: Internship  

Contract Length: 4 months  (May - August 2026)
