Burson is looking for a new Intern with specialization in Influencer Marketing to work across iconic beauty, retail and CPG brands. As a part of WPP Onefluence, you’ll be joining a a full-service network with the most sophisticated influencer expertise around the globe to meet client scale.  

Influencer marketing is a core piece of our business, and we are seeking someone who is as passionate about this world as we are. We’re looking for candidates that are social first, tapped in, and passionate about beauty & retail. 

Here’s what you’d be doing: 

  • Responsible for all campaign set up within campaign management systemin collaboration with team members
  • Responsible for compliance within campaign management system to ensure maintenance of data quality across multiple key inputs for active partnerships
  • Manage all content monitoring including manual addition of content not tracked or removal of irrelevant content for paid and seeding campaigns 
  • Maintenance and optimization of influencer CRM to source best possible campaign partners
  • Support with influencer identification or vetting as needed
  • Support with development of campaign reports 
  • Keep on top of emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, and influencers in the Canadian market
  • Carry out social media listening and research to identify trends in online conversations and to pinpoint potential influencers to collaborate with 

What you’ll need to get here: 

  • A recent graduate with a degree in PR or Brand Marketing and a minimum of 2 internships at consumer brand or PR, Content or Brand Marketing agencies
  • Experience contributing to influencer campaigns within internships
  • Understand metrics and insights from various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and other emerging channels
  • Clear understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, the importance and role of influencer marketing and best practices
  • Experience utilizing influencer campaign management systems like CreatorIQ, Traackr or in-platform tools is a plus
  • Flawless organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of requests
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
  • Creative thinker and problem solver

In Ontario, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. This range reflects our broader group’s compensation framework across diverse agencies and disciplines. For this specific role at Burson, our offer will be determined within this range based on our internal benchmark, reflecting the specific market conditions for our discipline. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.​
