About the Role:
We are looking for ambitious movie-obsessed students to join our IMAX Internship Program this Summer. This 10-week program focuses on hands-on learning, skill development, and real-world work experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. The internship will take place from June to August in the Sheridan Park office.
This role is ideal for individuals interested in working with numbers, uncovering insights behind financial results, and gaining hands-on experience with finance processes. Interns will gain exposure across the Finance function, including financial analysis, process documentation, and automation initiatives. The role also provides opportunities to leverage technology, including AI, to improve efficiency and workflows.
Responsibilities
Create reports and schedules for month-end reporting and reconciliation, including variance analysis
Gain hands-on experience with finance processes by developing process maps using AI
Partner with various Finance teams on initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Nice to Have
Exposure to AI tools or interest in applying AI for workflow automation
Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, BlackLine, or Workiva
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for IMAX

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :
$21.00 (per hour) Placement within this range depends on a candidate’s experience, skills, internal equity, and regional market factors.
