Description
This project supports the Enclosure Attach (EA) automation rollout at MMP by strengthening enablement readiness, improving EA utilization visibility, and reducing execution risk. The internship focuses on establishing structured tracking for EA utilization, training and certification readiness, and cross-functional enablement actions. Through data consolidation, gap tracking, and clear reporting, the project aims to enable a smoother and more controlled EA automation deployment.
Scope
  • Track EA line utilization performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Monitor EA operator and technician training and certification readiness
  • Consolidate enablement data into structured trackers and dashboards (e.g., Excel)
  • Improve execution visibility by tracking gaps, actions, and follow-ups across EA lines
  • Support preparation of periodic summaries for operations and management reviews

Supporting Team
  • Operations Team (EA Line Owners / Supervisors)
  • Training Team (EA Trainers / Certification Owners)
  • Engineering Team (EA Automation & Process Engineering)

Deliverables
  • EA utilization tracking dashboard (Excel-based)
  • Training & certification readiness tracker for EA operators and technicians
  • EA enablement gap and action tracker with ownership and status
  • Summary slides or reports for operational and management reviews

Stretch Goal
  • Develop an integrated EA enablement dashboard combining utilization, training readiness, and execution status
  • Identify systemic gaps and recommend process improvements to strengthen EA automation rollout readiness

Requirement
  • Background in EHS Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering & Science, or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in manufacturing operations, automation enablement, and data tracking
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and data analysis; ability to consolidate information clearly
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
