An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly innovative and talented RF team at Evertz as a Senior RF engineer. Evertz is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of leading edge products for the television broadcast, cable and telco industries.
As a member of the R & D team you will be working on a broad range of products including passive and active circuit designs. This is a hands-on engineering role with substantial lab based work. You will also get to be involved in the RF over Optics development tasks across the range of Evertz products. Your projects will include the design and development from concept to production. A strong technical and analytical approach is essential with a clear track record of success and delivery.
Responsibilities:

  • RF / IF circuit design, simulation and validation (from 1 to 75 GHz)
  • Design of high speed analog signal transmission on copper or fiber optic media products
  • Analyze product requirements and draft technical specifications.
  • Manage small projects on spec, on budget and on time.


Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years RF / IF development and implementation experience with high performance satellite and / or wireless communications products.
  • An excellent understanding of interaction and relationships between key parameters including gain, power levels, linearity, VSWR, NF, etc.
  • Experience designing and developing a range of RF &Microwave products over the spectrum of IF, L-band, C band, X band to Ka bands.
  • Experience with microwave and millimeter wave devices, circuits and technologies such as filters, combiners / dividers, mixers, attenuators and couplers.
  • Experience with Electronic Design Automation tools (e.g. ADS) and 2D / 3D EM simulators (e.g. ADS, HFSS, Microwave Studio, etc.).
  • Successful candidate will have a Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
