Engineering at Ada

As an Ada engineer, you’ll have the autonomy to make a huge impact and the opportunity to work alongside talented peers who challenge and inspire you. We move fast, take ownership, and always strive to improve, both as individuals and as a team. You will partner with product managers, designers, and machine learning scientists and will be responsible for both building scalable systems and working directly with LLMs. If you’re excited to solve complex problems and shape the future of AI-driven customer support, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Role

As an Intermediate Software Engineer at Ada you will take ownership of features, delivering high-quality, scalable software that directly impacts our customers and business. You will be expected to write reliable, maintainable code, actively participate in technical discussions, and continuously refine your expertise, positioning yourself for growth into senior roles.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer (with a strong preference for Python, JavaScript/TypeScript experience)
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch and in-memory stores such as Redis
  • Experience with 3rd party LLM providers, such as OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic
  • Proactive in developing your technical expertise and seeking out opportunities to deepen your skills and learn best practices
  • Collaborative mindset, actively contributing to team success and doing what it takes to win
  • A builder at heart, excited to create, iterate, and refine features that have real impact, while maintaining a high bar for quality and scalability

The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 - $132,000. Actual pay will be determined based on several factors such as past experience and qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
