Are you excited to shape the future of user experiences for our creators? We’re looking for an Intermediate Product Designer to join us at Thinkific!

As an Intermediate Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in crafting intuitive and impactful user experiences that empower our creators. Reporting to the Director of Experience Design, you’ll be involved in shaping design solutions from initial research to high-fidelity execution, working closely with a supportive design team and cross-functional partners to deliver impactful, user-centred products.

Your goal will be to contribute to a best-in-class creator experience. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

  • UX Design: Deliver thoughtful, end-to-end design solutions, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You’ll work within an established design system while collaborating with senior designers to to bring unique insights to improve systems where needed
  • User-Centred Research: Participate in and conduct user research to gather insights that inform your designs and guide product decisions
  • Continuous Improvement: Refine and optimize designs based on user feedback, analytics, and business outcomes to improve usability, performance, and overall value
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Experience Design & Research, Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and ensure cohesive user experiences
  • Design Reviews & Feedback: Actively contribute to design critiques by both providing and receiving constructive feedback to uphold high design standards and foster team growth

The person we have in mind likely:

  • Has 3–5 years of experience in a Product or Experience Design role, preferably focused on SaaS commerce and monetization workflows
  • Shares a strong portfolio of design work that clearly articulates their role in each project and demonstrates critical thinking
  • Utilizes a hypothesis- and data-driven approach to design, creating and testing assumptions to validate ideas and drive iterative improvements
  • Has hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative user research methods, leveraging insights to inform decisions and measure outcomes
  • Loves to learn and grow—whether through formal education, professional experience, or even building their own business

These skills would be great, but you can learn them on the job:

  • Familiarity with compliance and tax considerations for SaaS commerce
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices to create inclusive design solutions
  • Experience working in an agile development environment

The recruitment compensation range for this position is $93,000 - 133,000 CAD. Your specific compensation within this range is determined based on your job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and our internal equity assessment.
