What You'll Do
Strategic Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document complex functional and technical requirements for enterprise-scale projects
Full-Stack Development: Build modern web applications using Angular and JavaScript frameworks, while developing robust backend solutions with C# and .NET Core/Framework
Code Architecture & Integration: Review and understand existing codebases to ensure seamless integration and maintenance of current solutions
End-to-End SDLC Participation: Actively contribute to all phases of software development lifecycle, from design through deployment
Quality Assurance & Testing: Perform rigorous testing and validation to guarantee enterprise-grade quality and performance
Cloud Deployment: Deploy applications to various environments using Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Octopus Deploy
Team Influence & Collaboration: Use relational skills to positively influence cross-functional teams and contribute to technical decision-making
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience
Fluency in English and French (written and oral)
Strong experience with C#, Microsoft .NET Core, or .NET Framework using Visual Studio
Proven web application development skills with Angular (including AngularJS) or similar frameworks (React, Vue)
Experience with deployment tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Octopus Deploy
Solid foundation in REST API development, HTML, and CSS
Assets:
Pipeline setup experience with Helm and YAML/YML
Database development knowledge (SQL and NoSQL/MongoDB)
Web service development experience (WebAPI, WCF)
ASP.NET development background
Unit testing framework experience (Cypress, Protractor)
Agile development environment experience
Enterprise software architecture knowledge
Soft Skills:
Strong relational and communication skills with ability to influence through collaboration
High emotional intelligence and empathy
Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously in team environments
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.
