Your Opportunity

Our GTA Audit Practice is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the team, with flexibility to work from any of our three offices: Toronto, Oakville, or Markham. You will own the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards. 

  • Streamline thepreparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries. 

  • Foster positive working relationships with clients, and promptly address their requests and suggestions. 

  • Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues.

Your experience and education 

  • You have completed or are currently working towards your CPA designation. 

  • You possess a minimum of 1 year of audit experience in the public accounting industry. 

  • You have exposure to or familiarity with ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, or US GAAP standards (considered an asset). 

  • You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work. 

  • You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 

  • You possess a solid understanding of accounting policies and assurance techniques.
