We are seeking a skilled and proactive Workday Integration Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and various third-party vendor products. This role requires a solid understanding of Workday security and integration development, with a capacity to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related tickets effectively. This developer will also have the opportunity to expand their expertise into the Azure stack, particularly in Logic Apps, as our systems evolve.

This role is based in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Toronto Corporate Office, reporting to the Manager, Integrations - Enterprise Platforms. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

Integration Development & Support:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party vendor systems, ensuring they operate smoothly and meet organizational needs.

  • Provide hands-on support for 80+ payroll integrations and troubleshoot integration-related issues, aiming for a 48-hour turnaround on support tickets.

  • Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and design of new integrations.

  • Use Workday Studio to design, code, test, and debug complex integrations.

  • Document integration requirements, maintain an integration catalog, and create comprehensive support documentation for all Workday-related integrations.

Workday Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure all integrations meet Workday security best practices and compliance standards.

  • Stay up-to-date with Workday's security protocols and updates, adjusting integrations as needed.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) on all integrations, including code validation and debugging.

  • Participate in regression testing three times a year during Workday updates to maintain integration health.

Azure Stack Development & Troubleshooting (Future Focus):

  • As our integration landscape expands, begin exploring and learning the Azure stack, particularly focusing on Logic App development.

  • Assist in troubleshooting Azure Logic App-related tickets as you develop expertise, ensuring seamless integration between Workday and Azure systems.

Who You Are

  • Proficient in Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday-delivered templates.

  • Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, XSLT, and integration troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of Workday RestAPI, Workday Web Services, Wokday Report Writing and Calculated Fields.

  • Strong understanding of C#, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience with end-to-end Azure development is a plus

  • Knowledge of technical support & help desk

  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities

  • Effective under pressure with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in application development experience is required

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
