At Viral Nation, we specialize in building social-first ecosystems for brands to connect with the modern consumer journey. Our integrated solutions align strategy, talent, media, and technology with culturally relevant creativity to scale the world’s fastest-growing digital brands. Viral Nation offers a fluid, creative, and growth-oriented environment that will support your ambitions to apply your talents in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced culture. Our ability to stay at the forefront of the industry has fuelled our success and will guide us in paving the path forward. We’re driven to push boundaries and think beyond today to deliver strategies, and we’re just getting started.

While we continuously exceed our goals, we need your help – our success is only as great as our people. Strong performance leads to high expectations, and we must keep raising the bar!

We’re looking for an Integrated Communication Specialist with the hunger to own our blog and fuel brand growth. This isn’t just about writing great copy, it’s about building and scaling a content engine. You’ll manage our editorial calendar, ensure consistent blog publication, support SEO growth, and help repurpose long form assets into high impact content.
You’ll think like a marketer, write like a journalist, and collaborate like a team player. The right candidate has a clear, concise, and conversational writing style, focused on educating, connecting, and converting. Success in this role means seeking feedback, evolving your craft, and building strong relationships across the business.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Maintain a blog editorial calendar planned 2 months in advance, and proactively suggest timely blog topics that keep us relevant.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality publishing cadence for all content assets.
  • Optimize underperforming content, prune what’s no longer performing, and ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Create audience-driven, long-form content such as whitepapers, reports, ebooks, etc.
  • Own the monthly prospect newsletter, including curating, writing, promoting, and managing the project.
  • Support and assist in the creation of video assets and programs.
  • Look for ways to continuously repurpose long-form content (whitepapers, webinars, case studies) into blog posts, emails, visuals, and other formats.
  • Leverage AI where applicable to scale programs, manage projects effectively, and ensure consistent publishing standards.
  • Collaborate with CS, product, and sales to build more relevant, value-driven content that aligns with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to improve future content strategies.
  • Seek out and apply feedback; contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Document all best practices, tests, and content insights so we can build repeatable playbooks for all of our content programs.

You'll Need To Have:

  • 2-3 years in content marketing or B2B marketing roles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills: clear, compelling, and human.
  • Proven ability to manage an editorial calendar and meet deadlines.
  • Great project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • The ability to translate business objectives and OKRs into actionable content assets.
  • Experience juggling multiple content projects at once.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools to support ideation and workflows.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and accepting feedback constructively.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, or similar CMS.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Clearscope.
  • Background in a fast-paced agency or startup.
  • Video marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with GA4 and performance dashboards.

How We Work:

Content is a team sport. You’ll collaborate across the company to bring ideas to life. We value:

  • Agility over perfection, especially in blog and campaign content.
  • Openness to feedback, both giving and receiving.
  • Clear, confident writing that feels human, not robotic or academic.
  • Ownership with flexibility, lead with initiative but keep doors open for ideas from all corners of the organization.

Viral Nation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in our agency. Viral Nation welcomes applications from people with visible and non-visible disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruiting and selection process.
