About the role
We're looking for an Insights Analyst who can master the Knotch One platform and transform complex data into compelling, actionable insights that drive client success.
As a Knotch Insights Analyst, you'll dive deep into web analytics, journey data, and survey results to uncover the story behind the numbers. You'll translate technical findings into clear recommendations and test-and-learn plans that align with each client's unique business goals. Working closely with Customer Success Managers, you'll ensure every insight is tailored, relevant, and ready to drive impact.
This role sits on our Reporting & Insights team with high visibility and direct client impact. You'll work alongside Customer Success Managers and Account Directors to turn data into decisions that move the needle for our enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex data from web analytics, journey analytics, and survey platforms to uncover meaningful patterns and insights.
- Translate data into stories that connect technical findings to client business goals in language stakeholders understand.
- Develop test-and-learn plans based on insights to help clients optimize their content and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to tailor reports, insights, and recommendations to each client team's objectives and context.
- Support client meetings as needed to help Customer Success Managers communicate findings and answer technical questions.
- Ensure data quality and rigor by maintaining high standards for data cleanliness, accuracy, and statistical validity.
- Challenge assumptions by questioning data anomalies and digging deeper to uncover the "why" behind the numbers.
- Visualize insights through compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations that make complex data accessible.
Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics within marketing, digital analytics, or SaaS environments.
- Prior startup or growth-stage company experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.
- SaaS platform experience understanding subscription business models and recurring customer relationships.
Required
- Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics—deep expertise with at least one, proficiency with both preferred
- Data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create clear, impactful reports
- Excel/Google Sheets mastery for data manipulation, analysis, and quality control
- SEO knowledge to interpret organic search performance and content discoverability metrics
- Data analytics platforms such as Optimizely, Contentsquare, or Amplitude
Preferred
- Journey analytics platforms
- Survey tools and platforms
- SQL for advanced data querying and analysis
- AI experience utilizing AI to code or create analysis
- Knowledge of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Data science methodologies
- A/B testing and UX design/testing experience

- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Marketing (or equivalent experience).
- Multiple analytics platform certifications
- Eastern Time Zone location for easier collaboration with team and clients.

The salary range for this opportunity is $80,000 - 160,000 USD depending on experience.
Compensation for Canada-based applicants will be determined based on experience and location.
