SUMMARY: This is an internal sales position requiring strong communication, customer service and time management skills. Success in this role will require a passion for developing new business with a high degree of dedication, professionalism and integrity.
During a typical week you will be responsible, but not limited to the following duties:
- Seek and explore all sales leads and opportunities, working with Outside Sales and reporting feedback to Management.
- Develop and maintain accurate customer data in CRM system.
- Work with Client Managers to understand current promotions, special offers and inform customers of relevant product updates
- Follow-up with customers to obtain feedback
- Explain and demonstrate features and benefits of products and services
- Stay informed about brands and products
The successful candidates must possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in customer service or sales – preferably in a Foodservice environment
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Occasional travel to customers’ locations is required
- Follow-up with customers to obtain feedback
- Understanding of the importance of fast and accurate responses
- Outstanding telephone skills with impressive ability to relate over the phone, good speaking voice, and able to deal with multiple levels within organizations
- Excellent oral and written communication in English (French an asset)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM a definite asset
