What you'll be doing

As a member of the Tools, Security and Compliance team, you will play a role you will play a key role in strengthening IT Asset Management (ITAM) data integrity across CIBC’s endpoint environment. This role is highly analytical and focused on improving the quality, accuracy, and trustworthiness of asset data, primarily within SCCM, across Windows, macOS, and print environments (virtual and physical). You will also help shape processes, identify inefficiencies, and improve how asset management is executed day to day. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where operational excellence is critical. You’re flexible to support occasional after-hours or weekend work as part of remediation efforts.

How you'll succeed

  • Data & Analytical Expertise - Analyze and validate ITAM data within SCCM to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risk indicators. Leverage SQL to query, reconcile, and interpret asset inventory data. Demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and excel at analyzing complex issues to deliver effective solutions.
  • Reporting & Visualization Skills – Design and maintain clear, insightful dashboards using Power BI to support leadership reporting and risk visibility. Demonstrate initiative and reliably achieve objectives, often working independently with limited guidance.
  • ITAM & Endpoint Knowledge - Partner with ITAM and Infrastructure teams to refine processes and improve asset lifecycle data accuracy. Knowledge of CMDB and endpoint management ecosystems is an asset.
  • Collaboration & Influence - Work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify processes, refine workflows, and improve data reliability across teams. Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership audiences.
  • Governance & Risk Awareness - Apply a structured, control-minded approach when identifying inconsistencies, assessing impact, and escalating concerns appropriately
  • Hardware Expertise - Brings proven expertise in managing and troubleshooting a range of hardware platforms, including Windows, Mac, mobile devices, and printers.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 3+ years’ experience in. ITAM or endpoint asset data analysis with strong exposure to SCCM or similar endpoint management platforms. You have hands-on experience using SQL to query, analyze and reconcile large datasets, identifying discrepancies and improving data quality. You have experience building or maintaining Power BI dashboards. You understand the IT asset lifecycle and how data integrity impacts risk, compliance and governance outcomes. You bring technical foundation (Computer Science, Data Analytics and or equivalent practical experience) and understand the broader employee technology ecosystem.
