CAD Technician III
Work Location: Remote - California
Our CAD Technician III will be responsible for supporting a global organization of mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers, construction professionals, project managers and site operations experts who plan, build, and Data Center Program Managers.
Scope:

Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.

Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialty

Works on problems of a diverse scope

Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instruction on new assignments
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Prepare drawing updates as required.
-
Test CAD applications.
-
Perform CAD length calculations and quality checks.
-
Perform quality checks on current and future tools.
-
Collaborate with various teams to deploy components.
-
Develop procedures for future client IT deployments.
-
Develop data center, network, or lab cable tray designs.
-
Support and backup team Project Managers.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B. A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Understanding of complex spreadsheets.
-
Ability to work with a geographically diverse team.
-
Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.
-
Understanding of at least two of the following: server hardware and software, network hardware and software, data center infrastructure and operations, mechanical and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of data center environments.
Salary Range
$85,120.00 - $134,400.00 USD (Salary)
