Implementation Consultant

Global | Professional Services

Build solutions that actually change how work gets done.

At Intelex, implementation isn’t about checking boxes or racing to a go-live date. It’s about helping organizations fundamentally improve how they protect people and the environment, manage risk, and operate responsibly at scale.

As an Implementation Consultant, you’ll sit at the center of that transformation. You’ll partner directly with customers to translate complex business goals into working, adopted solutions—and you’ll see the real-world impact of your work every day.

This is a role for consultants who want ownership, depth, and purpose, not just project churn.

Why this role matters

Customers don’t buy Intelex for software alone—they buy outcomes: safer workplaces, better quality, stronger compliance, and measurable operational improvement. You are the person who makes that real.

You’ll guide customers from ambition to execution, helping them design, configure, and adopt solutions that fit their reality—not a generic template. When customers succeed, it’s because the implementation was thoughtful, disciplined, and outcome-driven. That’s your craft.

What you’ll do (and why it’s interesting) Be a trusted advisor, not just a configurator

You’ll lead customers through the full implementation journey—from discovery to go-live—helping them make smart decisions about scope, design tradeoffs, and priorities. You’ll explain why a solution works, not just how to use it.

Turn complexity into clarity

You’ll run workshops, facilitate conversations across business and technical stakeholders, and translate messy requirements into clean, scalable configurations. You’ll help customers see the path forward when things get complicated.

Build solutions that stick

Your work doesn’t stop at configuration. You’ll test, validate, train, and prepare customers for real adoption—so solutions are usable, trusted, and stable from day one.

Own quality and outcomes

You’ll take pride in clean requirements, strong design decisions, disciplined testing, and thoughtful documentation. You’ll know that a “successful” project is one that customers can actually run with after go-live.

Grow your expertise

You’ll deepen your technical skills on the Intelex platform, integrations, and data flows. You’ll work across industries and regions, learning how different organizations solve similar problems in very different ways.

What success looks like

  • Customers are confident, informed, and prepared—not surprised—at go-live
  • Solutions align to real business goals and are ready for adoption
  • Projects move forward predictably, with issues surfaced early and handled professionally
  • Stakeholders trust your judgment and seek your input
  • You consistently deliver high-quality work while managing multiple engagements

Who you’ll work with

You’ll report to the Manager, Consulting and be part of a global Professional Services organization. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Customer Success, Support, Product, and a global community of experienced consultants.

You won’t be on an island. You’ll have mentorship, peer support, and access to deep subject-matter expertise as you grow.

What you need to bring on day one (must-haves)

These are the skills that make you effective from the start. We won’t teach these from scratch.

You already:

  • Know how to work directly with customers—leading conversations, earning trust, and navigating competing priorities
  • Have experience delivering SaaS implementations or complex technical projects, including requirements, configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Can break down messy, ambiguous problems and turn them into structured plans and decisions
  • Understand the importance of scope, timelines, and quality, and know how to hold the line when tradeoffs appear
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior customer leaders
  • Take ownership: when something goes wrong, you lean in, not away

These skills are non-negotiable because they’re foundational to protecting customer outcomes.

What we’ll help you develop (and expect you to lean into)

These are the skills that accelerate your career—and this role is designed to help you build them fast.

You’ll develop:

  • Deep platform expertise: advanced configuration patterns, integrations, data flows, and solution design judgment
  • Outcome-driven consulting instincts: connecting customer goals to adoption, behavior change, and measurable value
  • Executive presence: framing tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations clearly for senior stakeholders
  • Systems thinking: understanding how delivery decisions affect sales, product, customer success, and long-term growth
  • Delivery leadership: influencing without authority, guiding customers through uncertainty, and setting direction under pressure

We don’t expect perfection—but we do expect curiosity, effort, and momentum.

How we know you’ll succeed here

Top performers in this role tend to:

  • Learn faster than average and apply lessons immediately
  • Ask better questions, not just more questions
  • Seek feedback early—and actually use it
  • Take pride in clean work, strong decisions, and customer outcomes
  • See complexity as a challenge, not a blocker

This role rewards people who want to stretch, not settle.

How you operate (and how you grow)

  • Customer-obsessed: you care deeply about whether solutions actually work for real users in real environments.
  • Consultative: you listen first, then guide with confidence—especially when tradeoffs are hard.
  • Accountable: you own your commitments, your decisions, and your outcomes.
  • Curious: you’re always learning—about the platform, customer operations, industries, and better ways to deliver.
  • Adaptable: you stay effective in fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Hungry to grow: you’re motivated to fast-track your career, take on complexity early, and stretch beyond your current role. You don’t back down from challenges—you learn from them and come back sharper.

Growth, opportunity, and what this role unlocks

This role is a launchpad.

The experience you gain as an Implementation Consultant—customer-facing leadership, complex problem-solving, platform mastery, and delivery accountability—opens doors across the business. Many of our strongest leaders started here.

From this role, consultants commonly grow into paths such as:

  • Senior Consultant and Solution Architect
  • Services or Solutions Sales
  • Product Management
  • Project Management, Consulting/Services Leadership

Growth at Intelex is earned through impact. As the company grows, so do the opportunities—and this role puts you at the center of that momentum.
