About InAir

InAir is a forward-thinking, fully remote consulting firm with a stronghold in Texas. We are proud experts in Airtable consulting services, partnering with mid-sized to large enterprises. Our mission is to harness the power of low-code platforms, enabling businesses to optimize their workflows, foster collaboration, and achieve ambitious outcomes through Airtable.

At our company, we foster a culture of honesty, responsibility, and accountability. These core values create a successful, innovative, and transparent workplace. Our remote work setting is built on trust, respect, and open communication, allowing team members to shine and grow.

The Role

We're looking for an Implementation Consultant: a builder who turns real business problems into working systems, and who can sit in front of a client and own the conversation.

You'll lead implementations end to end — from discovery sessions where you map how a client's operation actually works, to designing and delivering the Airtable system that runs it. You won't be alone: a dedicated Engineer handles custom code, and you own the what, the when, and the client relationship.

What matters most is that you've built real, working systems — in Airtable, Bubble, Notion, Zapier/Make, Retool, or whatever tool got the job done — and that you understand why a system that works for 10 records falls apart at 100,000. A formal database background is a great asset here, but it's the building track record that makes the role.

What You'll Do
  • Build: Design and deliver Airtable systems — tables, automations, and interfaces — that clients rely on to run their operations.
  • Lead discovery: Run client sessions to uncover workflows, pain points, and what "success" actually looks like. Translate business language into a system design.
  • Own delivery: Manage scope, priorities, and timelines across multiple client projects, coordinating day-to-day execution with a dedicated Engineer.
  • Improve what exists: Evaluate clients' current Airtable setups and make them cleaner, faster, and more scalable.

What We're Looking For
  • A track record of building. You've shipped working systems in low-code/no-code tools that real teams used — regardless of whether your background is engineering, operations, marketing, or something else entirely.
  • Relational data fundamentals. You understand linked records, one-to-many relationships, and why structure matters for scale. Deeper database experience (SQL, ERDs, schema design) is very welcome — it's just not the entry requirement; the instincts are.
  • Business-workflow fluency. You can look at how a mid-sized or large company operates — approvals, handoffs, data flowing between teams — and quickly form a mental model of it.
  • Client presence. You're comfortable leading meetings, managing expectations, and explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ownership. You thrive when you own the outcome, not just a to-do list.

Nice to Have
  • Deep Airtable experience.
  • Background in consulting, agencies, RevOps, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with the broader low-code/no-code ecosystem.
  • Experience with ClickUp.

Structure & Availability

Full-time (40 hours/week), fully remote. You'll manage a portfolio of enterprise clients, so you'll need stable, dedicated availability aligned with US business hours.
