Job Description

  • Perform after hours On-Call TSM support.
  •  Install TSM Server Software
  • Install TSM ISC Console
  • Configure TSM Administration Center
  • Install/Activate TSM Licenses
  • Add TSM servers in ISC console
  • Install/Configure TSM Autochanger/Library
  • Configure TSM Server
  • Configure TSM server settings
  • Configure TSM database & recovery log
  • Configure TSM Policy domain,policy set management class and copy groups
  • Configure TSM backup schedules
  • Configure TSM co-location
  • Configure TSM storage pools and volumes
  • Install/Configure TSM Clients (Windows/ UNIX/ Linux/AIX)
  • Scripting and Automation for TSM health check and daily activities.

Qualifications

  • IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows & UNIX                                               
  • IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL etc)               
  • DRM using Tivoli Storage Manager                                          
  • Tape Library (Storagetek, IBM) / Tape Drives DLT / LTO / 3590 / 9840                       
  • Must possess an in depth working knowledge of TSM release 5.5.4.
