We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an IAM Engineer with experience in identity management systems, access governance, and service engineering. You will be part of a dedicated IAM team responsible for reducing complexity, promoting reuse, and managing change and risk across various business units. You will be involved in implementing and supporting IAM services, automating workflows, and providing technical expertise in authentication and access control — using AI tools as a natural part of how you work. The ideal candidate has strong experience with IAM technologies, authentication protocols, and automation, and is comfortable leveraging AI to work more efficiently and effectively.
You Are:

  • Detail-oriented. You ensure the security and efficiency of IAM services, using AI tools to catch what manual review might miss.

  • Analytical. You analyze and optimize IAM workflows and governance models, drawing on AI-assisted analysis to go deeper and faster.

  • Collaborative. You work closely with business units, security teams, and IT stakeholders to enhance identity management processes.
Proactive. You anticipate security and compliance risks and address them effectively, using AI to help surface issues before they escalate.

  • Technically proficient. You have expertise in IAM technologies, authentication protocols, and automation — and you extend that expertise with AI tools where they add value.

  • Excellent communicator. You effectively convey complex security and access management concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, using AI to help draft and refine communications when it helps.

You Will:

  • Support identity management systems and related initiatives to enhance security and
efficiency, using AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

  • Monitor, log, audit, and report on IAM services to business stakeholders, leveraging AI
tools to surface anomalies and streamline reporting.

  • Provide technical expertise in the implementation of identity management, single sign-on (SSO), role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

  • Maintain custom code bases for self-hosted sign-in pages for the Common Customer Hub, using AI coding assistants to write, review, and refactor more efficiently.

  • Provide technical assistance with onboarding new connected systems, using AI to accelerate documentation and reduce ramp time.

  • Offer on-call support for IAM services to ensure reliability and security, using AI to
speed up root cause analysis and incident response.

  • Develop automated workflows and tools to improve service delivery and efficiency, using AI to identify automation opportunities and accelerate development.

  • Solve service delivery-related performance issues.

  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of IAM policies, standards, and best practices, using AI to research and iterate on governance documentation.

Who You Will Work With:

Reporting to the IAM Manager, this role will collaborate with security teams, IT
administrators, and business units on a regular basis. Other key interactions include cloud
engineers, DevOps teams, and compliance officers.

Must Have's:

  • A DevOps mindset with experience in Agile and Continuous Delivery methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of IAM workflows and access governance.

  • Hands-on experience with IAM technologies such as Okta, AWS, Azure, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, SAML, OIDC, FIM/MIM, Active Directory, LDAP, and GitHub.

  • Strong knowledge of IT service management, including service design, transition, and
    delivery.

  • Experience developing automated workflows and tools for service delivery.

  • Experience solving service delivery-related performance issues.

  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, NodeJS, React,
    Angular, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Comfort using AI coding assistants and productivity tools as part of your daily workflow.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
    in a cross-functional team.

Nice To Have's:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or cybersecurity.

  • Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.

  • Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and IAM best practices.

  • Familiarity with zero-trust security models and identity federation.
