Description  
  • Shared Utility Service / Middleware team is looking for a database administrator to:
  • Create physical database designs, operate and administer the database management system (DBMS) including database optimization, performance tuning, backup and recovery Manage database requirements for new client application onboarding the Shared Utility Service hosting. The consultant will be responsible for creating physical database designs, and operating and administering the database management system (DBMS) including database optimization, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
General Skills: 
  • Experience in database administration at the specified experience level
  • Experience of managing Oracle 11g/12c ETL/Data warehouse Experience with UNIX operating system Experience with Oracle database technologies
  • Experience in one or more programming language
  • Experience in the use of information retrieval packages and proficiency with query language Experience with one or more communications protocol
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skill
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadline
  • Experience in monitoring and enforcing database rule
  • Experience in Incident, Change and Configuration Management procedures
