We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our Human Resources Generalists to support a variety of HR projects and initiatives. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist in producing various HR documents such as employment confirmation letters, leave forms, and employee records. 

  • Help answer basic employee queries related to employment conditions, such as leave policies, address changes, and general HR inquiries. 

  • Support the creation and maintenance of weekly HR reports, such as employee departures and other key metrics. 

  • Assist with updating and maintaining HR tracking systems, dashboards, and forms. 

  • Contribute to the coordination of exit interviews, including sending questionnaires, updating records, and collaborating with the HR team. 

  • Support the development, improvement, and documentation of HR processes and best practices. 

  • Help with audits of employee records and subordination links in the HR management system (such as Workday), ensuring the organization chart is up to date. 

  • Assist with occupational health and safety communications and follow-ups. 

  • Provide support in managing work permit and visa applications. 

  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and help implement HR initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with the HR team on a variety of projects and administrative tasks. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or post graduate diploma/certificate in Human Resources. 

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (French is a plus). 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) 

  • Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration and initiative 

  • Excellent organizational skills 

  • Previous internship or experience in an administrative role (HR-related or otherwise) is a plus.
