Job Summary:

In support of our growing organization, we are excited to be hiring an HR Business Partner onto the People and Culture team. In this role you will contribute to a wide range of HR functions, with a special focus on recruitment in your early months on the job. Reporting into the Vice President, People and Culture, you will have the opportunity to support on a variety of initiatives spanning employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, compliance, and culture. You will be supporting over 200 KEVites distributed across several offices and work locations in North America. Note that while this role will begin as a contract, there may be a future opportunity to extend into a full time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting our growth efforts by partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to assist with full cycle recruitment on select roles, and supporting with pieces of the recruitment cycle on others
    • Providing day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees on a variety of HR-related matters, including taking the lead on employee relations matters as they arise
    • Taking the lead on various culture initiatives to drive engagement and foster a fun and collaborative environment, ensuring cohesion across all KEV office locations
    • Playing a key role in the administration and management of our semi-annual employee engagement survey, ensuring we continue to raise the bar in creating an increasingly better place for KEV-ites to work
    • Assisting our Sr. Manager, Learning and Development with the planning and execution of a variety of key training programs including onboarding, sales training, and leadership development
    • Assisting with performance management, talent planning and related programs
    • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging legislation, ensuring compliance, and updating policies as required
    • Participating in the implementation of a new HRIS
    • Leading a variety of special projects that excite you and add value to the KEV team

You Are Our Ideal Candidate If You:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience working in an HR generalist capacity
  • Have deep experience with full-cycle recruitment and an interest in supporting the TA team with spillover as the need arises
  • Are the type to challenge the status quo, raise the bar, and would describe yourself as a driver of change that holds yourself and others accountable to a high standard
  • Are a good problem solver with the ability to influence, mediate, and help to drive a resolution
  • Have strong knowledge of employment laws, and the ability to incorporate legislative developments into internal documentation
  • Are a great communicator with the ability to articulate your thoughts in a professional yet approachable manner (verbally and in writing)
  • Like to juggle many things at once
