The HR Business Partner (Customer Leadership/Sales) represents HR in strategic business decisions , provides leadership to senior business leaders on workforce and talent strategy, works with COEs on program development and the implementation of HR initiatives. Additionally, the HRBP leverages the HR COEs to support the deployment of solutions to McCain people leaders.
Accountabilities:

  • Provide executive consultation related to strategic workforce management including succession planning, employee development and engagement, change management and high-risk employee relations within a targeted client group
  • Build confidential and objective relationships with each of the senior leaders in order to provide support and challenge in a way that will continue to move the function forward.
  • Plan and execute the end-to-end people development process (succession planning for critical roles and high potential development) for your client group.
  • Coach people leaders within client group to develop effective management and leadership behaviours, giving people leaders the tools to succeed as managers / leaders
  • Scan and understand the business market, environment and workforce needs, sharing insights with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with HR COEs to define and implement forward-thinking workforce strategies and solutions to meet business environment needs
  • Drives change leadership and provides ongoing change sponsorship, supporting client group in understanding and embracing changes, and oversees the delivery of change execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment effectively
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders across different levels, identify organizational needs and design appropriate solutions
  • Ability to influence and adapt style to collaborate with stakeholders, with a strong orientation towards solutions
  • Strong orientation and skillset in leveraging data to draw insights and inform decisions.


Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, supporting leaders across all levels.
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Advanced degree preferably in HR
  • Professional Human Resources certification preferred


Skills:

  • Ability to apply HR knowledge / experience across all HR policies, programs, processes, and functions
  • Ability to understand and provide guidance on HR compliance efforts
  • Strong internal consulting skills, with ability to influence change
  • Strong business-specific knowledge and organizational behavior / design / effectiveness skills
  • Ability to facilitate relationships and partner with senior and executive business leaders
  • Strong business acumen and project leadership skills
  • High understanding of the McCain talent management lifecycle
  • Knowledge of local employment-related laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into workable solutions

C ompensation Package : $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
