About the Role
The Human Resources Administrator will provide guidance and support to all departments and employees in the attainment of company goals related to the development and maintenance of positive employee relations.
Your Responsibilities• Assist with the full recruitment cycle for internal/external postings from job requisitions to issuing employment contracts;• Assist with temporary employee recruiting activity including communication, onboarding and reporting;• Assist with coordination of onboarding preparation and scheduling;• Assist with the maintenance of a complete and accurate employee database including new hires, termination and DLE;• Ensure training documentation is filed and versatility training matrix updated;• Ensure communication boards are up to date and are clear and organized;• Provide support to HR Generalists and HR Manager as required;• First point of contact for all HR-related queries;• Assembles and maintains all Employee personnel files, ensuring that all information is filed accurately and in a timely manner;• Maintain and ensure confidentiality of Employee personnel records;• Maintain Workday data, ensure high level of accuracy and data quality• Payroll support including timecard reviews and processing for Shared Service Centre, assisting with employee inquiries• Employment verifications• Assist in the preparation of Powerpoint slides for ECM's• Provides administrative duties such as copying, faxing, etc. as needed;• Assist with various HR related activities and events as required• Other duties may be assigned
Who we are looking for• Strong technical/computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Excel)• Ability to work within HRIS;• Strong planning/ organizational skills;• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize many different tasks;• Effective English verbal and written communication skills;• Excellent interpersonal skills;• Excellent time-management skills;• Ability to gather and analyze information;• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team;• Ability to adapt to different situations;• Familiar with various employment laws and practices;• Familiar with internal company policies and procedures;• Ability to exhibit confidentiality, discretion and integrity in all aspects of the job;• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Your preferred qualifications• Post-secondary education in a related field is required.• Degree in HR is considered an asset.• Proficient in computer and HRIS systems, including Microsoft Office, is required (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, PowerBI).• HR related designation or in progress an asset (CHRP)• Experience in HR or a related field, including co-op and internship placements.• Superior organizational skills are required.• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are essential.• Experience with Workday and Dayforce is an asset.
