The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a HR Systems & Analytics, Workday Lead to join our People and Culture team.
Reporting to the Senior Director, People and Culture, the HR Systems & Analytics, Workday Lead will be responsible for strategy, implementation, support, and maintenance of HR systems. This role will analyze HRIS performance, ensure data and integrations are maintained, and resolve system issues. This role will ensure system and data audits, and control processes are put in place, as well as lead technical and functional requirements and configuration. The position will lead training sessions for end users and lead/support projects as required.

What your day looks like:
- Managing the HRIS roadmap, including its evolution and evaluation. This may involve leading projects related to the implementation of new systems, ensuring they integrate with existing infrastructure
- Overseeing and managing all system maintenance, including the review, testing and implementation of releases, upgrades, features, and patches in partnership with the Information Technology (IT) department
- Ensuring Workday processes align with regulatory requirements (i.e. data retention), conducting regular maintenance and audits of HR systems’ security, and managing/updating security roles and access as requested
- Serving as the Workday system expert to enhance and optimize system configurations, creating opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes to suit a variety of stakeholder needs while balancing enterprise-wide HR service delivery and operational business requirements
- Building custom reports and creating reporting schedules for various internal stakeholders
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR Systems’ end-user and operational escalation inquiries
- Creating and maintaining HR Systems training material and user procedures, guidelines, and documentation
- Overseeing and managing all audit and data quality control processes for maintaining data integrity and security of HR systems and identifying opportunities for improvement to training, processes, or configurations
- Conducting research to remain knowledgeable on industry standards, trends, and emerging HR technologies with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support
- Providing change management and engagement support for new functionality across systems
Your experience and skills:
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems Management, or related disciplines is preferred
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience of progressive experience in an HRIS role with experience in all phases of the implementation lifecycle in HR systems projects is required
- Minimum 3+ years' experience implementing Workday HCM is required
- Advanced understanding and configuration proficiency with Workday modules (i.e. HCM Core, Talent Management/Acquisition, Performance, Compensation, Time Tracking) and their impact to modular inter-connected systems (ADP, Active Directory, Power BI) is required
- Workday Pro and Workday Pro Security Certifications are required
- Experience in creating and managing HR analytics and reporting is required
- Experience in data validation and auditing techniques to ensure accuracy and quality of large data sets is required
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, best practices, and the employee journey is required
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects through application of project management principles and practices is required
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to prepare, work with, and consolidate large, complex, linked worksheets and derive meaningful interpretations from multiple data sources is required
- Highly resilient and comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can calmly navigate change is required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a passion for providing exceptional client service and a focus on the end-user experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information is required
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
