The role

We are looking for a dedicated HR professional to join our team to drive organizational success through people focused initiatives. The HRBP will lead key initiatives in talent management, performance optimization, organizational change, employee engagement, and data-driven decision-making to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. This role requires a strong stakeholder who can act as a strategic advisor as well as deal and resolve complex employee relation concerns.

This role reports directly into the Human Resources Director.  At Capco Canada, we have a flexible/hybrid work environment combining in office collaboration and remote working

Key Responsibilities

Partnering with the Business

  • Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and teams, helping to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring HR is seen as a critical enabler of success.
  • Leadership Coaching: Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders, directors, and managers
  • Partner with Director of HR and COE partners, on firm-wide initiatives to assess employee engagement through pulse surveys and focus groups, using insights to implement action plans that enhances employee engagement and our culture

Enabling Change and Innovation

  • Adapts, innovates and refines HR practices in response to organizational changes, evolving needs, and external market trends, ensuring that Capco remains competitive and agile in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovation and fosters inclusivity.

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Workforce Analysis and Strategic initiatives: Work closely with leadership to assess current and future workforce needs, identify talent gaps and develop a defined retention strategy.

Talent, Performance, and Employee Engagement

  • Performance Management: Lead the refinement of performance management frameworks, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals, encourage continuous feedback, and promote accountability.
  • Talent Development: Partner with COE’s in the development and implementation of leadership development programs, mentorship initiatives, and career development plans that empower employees to grow within the firm:
  • Recognition Programs: Implement initiatives to recognize and celebrate employee achievements and milestones, reinforcing a culture of recognition and high performance.

Data and Insights

  • HR Analytics: Utilize HR analytics and data to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, benchmark and provide actionable insights to support HR decision-making.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Leverage COE dashboards that communicate HR metrics, trends, and key insights to leadership, ensuring transparency and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience: Extensive experience in HR business partnering, with proven experience in a senior HRBP or leadership role, ideally within financial services or consulting industries.
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven track record of leading and managing organizational change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and integration.
  • Performance Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in enhancing and implementing performance management systems that foster a culture of accountability, feedback, and development.
