Synopsis of the role

Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? As an HR Data Analyst / HR Generalist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategies and initiatives. You'll leverage Workday, along with Google Sheets and Slides to collect, analyze, and visualize HR data, transforming raw numbers into actionable insights. From onboarding new talent to fostering employee engagement and supporting a variety of talent and development initiatives you'll also gain exposure to a wide range of HR initiatives. What you’ll do:

  • Data Analytics & Metrics: Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends related to turnover, engagement, performance, talent development, and other key metrics. Prepare reports and presentations to share insights with the HR team and management.

  • Talent & Development: With a data lens, support a variety of annual processes (ie. Engagement Survey, Talent Review, Year End Review process)

  • HR Generalist Initiatives: Support the HR team with various initiatives including our Co-op program, Take Your Kids to Work Day, Health & Safety and other general support.

What experience you need: 

  • 1-2  years of experience as an HR Analyst, particularly in working with data.

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

  • Strong ability and facility with G-suite, especially in Google Sheets and Google Slides is required for this role. 

  • Experience using Workday is required.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, results-driven, and a can-do attitude.

  • Must demonstrate the highest standard in handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Have a knack and genuine interest in numbers, data and information; keen to dive into HR metrics

  • Curiosity about the increasing importance of data in the HR function and demonstrated interest in self-development in G-suite and the use of AI in the HR function

  • You bring a strong ability to problem solve and think critically, seeing problems as opportunities to solution and dig-in

  • You are a self-starter, you take ownership of your work, can prioritize business needs, and take pride in getting things done

  • Bilingualism (English and French) would be an asset
