Position Summary

The HR Advisor plays a key role in supporting NAC’s people and operations by delivering comprehensive Human Resources services across the organization. Acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers, this role provides full-cycle recruitment, employee relations support, policy and collective agreement interpretation, learning and development initiatives, and day-to-day HR advisory support.

Position Duties:

    As an HR Advisor, you will deliver full-cycle HR support including:

  • Full-cycle recruitment (salaried focus)
  • Employee relations & workplace investigations
  • Policy & collective agreement interpretation
  • Onboarding & workforce planning
  • Compensation, benefits & HR advisory support
  • Learning & development initiatives
  • You’ll act as a trusted partner, providing practical solutions in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years progressive HR experience
  • Post-secondary education in HR or related field
  • CHRP (or working toward) is an asset
  • Experience in construction or multi-site environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a solutions-focused approach
