Join Best Buy as our HR Advisor, supporting our supply chain operations and Geek Squad team!  As the HR Advisor, you will make an impact in the lives of our employees everyday by collaborating with leaders to create a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

As the on-site HR Advisor at our Brampton distribution center, you play a crucial role in the success of our business by supporting teams and leaders to do their best work, be themselves and grow our business.

What you’ll do as the HR Advisor:

  • Lead employee orientation and help create a welcoming, high-performance culture.
  • Partner with leaders on full cycle recruitment - to forecast staffing needs, recruit talent, and deliver a seamless hiring experience.
  • Support performance and reward programs—ensuring associates are recognized, compensated fairly, and clearly understand their benefits.
  • Promote health and safety by driving compliance, communication, and continuous improvement in workplace safety.
  • Empower employee growth by delivering impactful training, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Investigate employee relations matters in a timely manner while fostering engagement, a positive environment and meeting operational needs.
  • Manage claims with care and efficiency, supporting associates through WSIB, STD, and LTD processes with empathy and integrity.

What we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a distribution center or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in HR systems, data analysis and HR metrics
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with leading and supporting organizational change initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
