About the Role:

As IT Leader of Data Strategy, you will shape and drive Citco's enterprise-wide data initiatives, leading the vision and implementation of our data architecture, governance, and AI readiness. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to guide our data transformation journey and manage multiple data teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide IT data strategy aligned with standards and business objectives

• Lead and coordinate multiple data teams including data engineering, API and analytics

• Design enterprise-level data architecture and flow patterns

• Create roadmaps for data-related AI/ML implementation and data modernization

• Work with the business on data governance frameworks and policies

• Drive data quality and adoption of master data management implementations

• Contribute to the strategic technology evolution for data platforms

• Lead cross-functional data initiatives and innovation programs

• Work with the business to develop strategies for data monetization and value creation

• Contribute to enterprise data security and compliance measures

• Foster data-driven culture across the organization

• Mentor junior team members 

About You:

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data/IT leadership roles

• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise data initiatives

• Strong background in enterprise architecture

• Proven experience managing large technical teams

• Deep understanding of modern data platforms and tools

• Experience with AI/ML implementation strategies

• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks

• Experience with cloud-based data solutions

• Understanding of financial services data requirements

• Track record of successful digital transformation initiatives

• Executive-level communication skills

• Financial services industry experience

• Strategic planning and execution capabilities

Nice to Have:

• Experience with multiple cloud providers

• Knowledge of AI/ML implementation patterns

• API development experience

• Experience with real-time data processing

• CI/CD pipeline implementation experience

• Data governance framework experience

• Agile methodology experience
