Copy.ai is a fully remote company. All employees must be able to work 9am-5pm in their timezone, Pacific to Eastern.


We’re looking for our 1st Head of Growth Engineering you will both build the framework and own the growth engineering function that enables and empowers are prospective and existing customers to better experiment with our product offerings and features that leads to more customer adoption. You will partner closely with our GTM, Product, and EPD Leadership Team to design and craft our self-service go-to-market, which spans the user journey: acquisition, activation, retention and monetization. We are looking for a seasoned data-driven Growth Engineering Leader who excels at rapid experimentation and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What you'll do:

  • Build and execute growth experiments for acquisition, activation, monetization and retention improvements
  • Maintain and improve continuous integration/deployment pipelines
  • Design and run A/B tests to drive key metrics (signups, conversions, referrals, etc.)
  • Collaborate with product and the data science team to integrate analytics tools, track performance, and identify growth opportunities
  • Use data insights to propose and prioritize experiments that will move the needle for user engagement
  • Define target market, segments, addressable audience, and target penetration
  • Partner with our content and product teams to identify content gaps and opportunities for our target audience and shape the content narrative from top to bottom of funnel

About you; You are:

  • 5+ years of growth marketing engineering experience
  • 2+ years leading growth (marketing) engineering at a SaaS startup
  • Experience building marketing tools and infrastructure for self-serve SaaS products
  • Experience working with analytics and A/B testing frameworks, plus a solid understanding of metrics/KPIs for growth
  • Strong analytical thinker with proven ability to translate data into creative, results-oriented marketing strategies
  • Bias towards action with a mind for experimentation
  • Communicate with ease across cross-functional teams with ease to keep everyone on the same page
  • Tech Stack: React, Typescript, NodeJS, Postgres, MongoDB
