The Role
The Kyndryl Head of Government Affairs and Policy Germany will plan and execute strategies to grow Kyndryl’s reputation with our key stakeholders (including with national and regional institutions, regulators, partners, and customers), to drive our public policy activities, and to leverage Kyndryl’s engagement for our commercial success.
The Germany Lead will report into the Vice President Government Affairs and Policy for Europe, will work in close co-operation with Global Government Affairs and Policy colleagues across the Continent and the UK, as well as all other regions, and will partner with colleagues across functions, roles, and senioity-levels.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience working in government affairs and with German institutions and stakeholders, preferebly working on tech policy.
- Strong understanding of German institutions, the interplay of federal and state level, and public policies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and trusted relations accross internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate persuasively verbally and in writing, at different seniority levels, and across a diverse range of topics and of different nature (including technical and legal).
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify priorities, assess policy risks and opportunities, and communicate complex concepts concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong business-focus and results-oriented
- Fluent German and English.
