The Role

As the Head of Data and AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Influur's data and AI strategy. You will lead the data team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Your expertise in data analysis and strong leadership skills will be crucial in guiding our organization toward achieving its goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with Influur's business objectives, focusing on data governance, architecture, and analytics.
  • Lead and manage a team of data professionals, providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Establish and govern an enterprise data governance framework, focusing on data quality, protection of sensitive data, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Design and implement scalable, automated, secure, and auditable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Establish and track metrics and KPIs to assess data performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
  • Lead and take responsibility for business outcomes and development outcomes of the team.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, tech, influencer’s department, and product to deliver high-quality data insights.
  • Ensure timely delivery and proactively mitigate risks by working with other teams.

Desired Background

  • 7+ years of experience in data management or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Python, R, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices, including data quality standards and data protection measures.
  • Strong understanding of AI principles and practices, including model performance, data quality, and ethical AI considerations.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data architectures and pipelines that are scalable, automated, secure, and auditable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to understand and extract key insights from raw data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards common goals.
  • Experience breaking the longer term priorities into tangible deliverables and sequencing in a logical and efficient way.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and social media industry is a plus.
