Lylli, part of Spin Master, is building the world’s first storytelling platform — reinventing how children experience stories in a digital world. By merging cutting-edge technology with captivating narratives, Lylli transforms reading into an immersive, joyful experience that fosters cognitive growth and inspires a lifelong love of books. In partnership with leading publishers, authors, and creators, Lylli unlocks unlimited access to thousands of titles — from timeless classics like Alfie Atkins and Peter-No-Tail to global sensations like Paw Patrol.
About the Role

Lylli is looking for a Catalogue & Curation Lead to own the strategic development, quality, and performance of our overall content assortment.
While our Studio team focuses on creating and developing new titles, this role is responsible for ensuring that the full catalogue - licensed, partner, and studio-created - forms a competitive, compelling, and well-balanced offering for children and families.
You will decide what content we need, from whom, and how it should be surfaced in the app to drive engagement, trust, and long-term value. You will also lead the team responsible for day-to-day assortment management and curation.
This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, product experience, and commercial performance.
Your mission is to build and maintain a best-in-class children’s reading catalogue - one that is competitive in the market, trusted by parents, loved by children, and clearly differentiated through smart curation and presentation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Catalogue Strategy and Offering

  • Own the overall catalogue strategy across ages, formats, genres, languages, and reading levels
  • Define what a “complete and competitive” assortment looks like for our audience
  • Identify content gaps and priority areas (brands, publishers, formats, topics)
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and audience expectations
  • Partner with Business Development to inform acquisition priorities
  • Evaluate catalogue performance at brand, publisher, and title level
  • Partner with Head of Editorial Creation to align studio-created content with catalogue needs

Curation

  • Own how content is curated, grouped, and surfaced in the app and make sure necessary marketing material is available from partners
  • Define editorial logic for shelves, collections, themes, and recommendations
  • Ensure the catalogue is presented in a way that is adapted to the kids’ age level and builds trust with parents
  • Collaborate closely with Product/Tech on discovery, navigation, and curation of content

Team Leadership

  • Lead and oversee the Content specialists and ingestion team
  • Set clear goals, processes, and prioritization for the team
  • Create scalable ways of working as the catalogue grows

Performance Data-driven Decisions

  • Use engagement data, reading completion, and retention metrics to optimize the catalogue
  • Define success metrics for assortment health and curation quality
  • Continuously iterate on catalogue composition based on user behavior

You’ll thrive in this role if you…

  • Expert with true passion for children’s literature
  • Strategic and analytical, but with strong editorial taste
  • Comfortable making prioritization decisions and trade-offs
  • Passionate about children’s content, trust, and quality
  • Curious about how content performance changes in digital products
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys working across disciplines

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience from digital content platforms (kids or general)
  • Background in publishing, licensing, or content strategy
  • Experience managing large catalogues or assortments
  • Familiarity with kids brands, franchises, and publisher ecosystems
  • Experience leading small teams is a strong plus
