The Hardware Engineer will develop hardware testing panels, design circuits, support system verification, troubleshoot systems, and document changes for aerospace applications.

We have an immediate opening for a creative and talented Hardware Engineer (Intermediate) to join our engineering group in Mississauga.
Specific Position Duties
- Work as part of the Hardware Test Engineering team on activities associated with hardware test panel development for product test, verification, and aerospace certification.
- Design/prototype/implement/test/documents circuits and signal processing subsystems as needed to satisfy requirements.
- Support system verification and validation.
- Document changes/analysis for new circuits or modifications.
- Responsible for troubleshooting test bench systems when needed.
- Support at customer meetings and design reviews and perform independent design and analysis of complex designs as required.
- General maintenance of existing test bench systems.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience is required.
- Good working knowledge of Circuit Design, PCB Design, Power Electronics and Signal Processing.
- Excellent troubleshooting/debugging abilities.
- Ability to solder and use diagnostics tools like Digital Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators.
- Familiar with FPGAs / VHDL.
- Familiar with microcontrollers and embedded C programming.
- Familiar with PCB/CAD software.
- Experience with PCB Design/Assembly.
- Experience with Cables and Harness Design/Assembly.
- Expertise in hardware design activities, pertaining to requirement definition and management, including requirements decomposition, requirements traceability.
- Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.
- Very strong oral and written communication skills.
