The Guidewire Developer will utilize technical skills in the Guidewire suite, Gosu, and various programming languages to develop and support insurance-related software solutions. Responsibilities include debugging, production support, and utilizing code management tools, while also preparing technical documentation.
We are looking for a Guidewire Developer with experience in Guidewire suite billing, Portal & Gosu to work with our client in insurance.
- 5+ years' experience in IT with 3+ Years of Guidewire suite
- 2+ years' experience in Gosu scripting language
- 3 years' experience using agile methodology
- 5+ years' technical experience in development using JavaScript, Java, C# or similar language
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with SQL Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to debug software issues and resolve defects
- Experience in production support with strong analytical skills to identify and address production issues
- Experience in code management tools and code merges.
- Experience with technical documentation, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Team System
- Experience in Guidewire integration an asset
- Technical certification in Guidewire suite an asset
