Why Now

Seller growth is critical to Opendoor's success. Every seller who starts on our website represents helping a new homeowner achieve their goals and we know our funnel can be significantly improved. We're looking for a Growth PM to own the full seller journey from first click to request submission, optimizing our website, landing pages, and onboarding flows to drive measurable lift in acquisition and activation. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where your experiments will directly move company-level metrics.

The Role

We're looking for a Growth Product Manager who will own seller growth end-to-end; from opportunity sizing through experimentation to shipped product. You'll partner closely with Growth Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Marketing to identify high-leverage improvements, run rigorous A/B tests, and scale what works, driving measurable improvements in seller acquisition and activation.

This is a hands-on, technical role. You'll write SQL to size opportunities, analyze experiment results, and dig into funnel data. You won't wait for analysts to get back to you, you'll find the answers yourself and move fast.

What You'll DoFunnel Optimization & Experimentation
  • Own the seller growth funnel from website visit through request submission; identify and prioritize the highest-leverage optimization opportunities.

  • Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests across website, landing pages, and onboarding flows: driving measurable improvements in conversion rates.

  • Build a rigorous experimentation roadmap; maintain velocity of experiments per sprint while ensuring statistical validity.

Product & Technical Ownership
  • Partner with Growth Engineering to ship product improvements end-to-end from PRD through launch and iteration.

  • Write SQL to size opportunities, analyze experiment results, and surface insights from funnel data. You're self-sufficient, you don't wait for data requests.

  • Optimize critical growth surfaces: homepage, landing pages, offer request flows, and seller onboarding experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure cohesion between paid acquisition channels and on-site experience.

  • Work with Data Science to build measurement frameworks, define success metrics, and ensure experiment rigor.

  • Collaborate with Design to create high-converting user experiences grounded in customer insight and data.

We're You'll Need
  • 4-8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years focused on growth, acquisition, or conversion optimization.

  • Technical proficiency: You're comfortable writing SQL to query data, size opportunities, and analyze experiment results independently.

  • Proven track record of running A/B tests at scale and driving measurable improvements in funnel metrics.

  • Experience with consumer-scale acquisition and activation: you've worked on funnels with meaningful volume.

  • Strong analytical foundation: You understand statistical significance, experiment design, and opportunity sizing.

  • Experience optimizing web experiences, landing pages, and onboarding flows.

  • Bias for action: You ship fast, learn from results, and iterate. You don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

  • AI fluency: You actively use AI tools like Claude Code, MCPs, Cursor, or similar to accelerate your work. You see AI as leverage for analysis, writing, and problem-solving, and you're always looking for ways to 10x your output.

How You Work (What We Value)
  • Speed and urgency: You move fast because the faster you go, the more you learn. Grit and ownership: You push through hard problems. You own outcomes end-to-end.

  • Results over activity: You measure impact, not effort. You're focused on outcomes, not process theater.

  • Data-driven decision making: You use data, judgment, and real-world feedback to decide.

  • Self-starting and action-oriented: You don't wait for permission or perfect information. You see gaps and close them. You see opportunities and take them.

  • Intellectual honesty: You seek truth over comfort.

  • Comfort with ambiguity: You'll never have 100% of the information. You make decisions anyway, knowing most are reversible.

Why Opendoor
  • High-impact work: Your experiments will directly move company-level metrics. This isn't optimization at the margins it's growth that matters.

  • Speed and autonomy: We value action over deliberation. You'll have the trust and support to move fast and make decisions.

  • Merit-based culture: What matters here is contribution, not title. We celebrate impact, grit, creativity, and breakthroughs.

  • World-class team: Work alongside exceptional peers in growth, engineering, and data science all united by a mission to make homeownership more accessible.
