Role Description 

  • Act as finance partner to Growth, Product, and Commercial teams 

  • Drive profitable growth through insight on pipeline, pricing, product and investment decisions 

  • Translate data into clear commercial insights and outcomes 

  • Own client profitability, pipeline, and investor insight 

  • Provide independent challenge to improve decision quality 

Team Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to core outputs (pipeline, reporting, profitability analysis) 

  • Work closely with commercial finance, product, and regional teams 

  • Apply consistent tools, models, and assumptions 

  • Share insights and proactively highlight issues and opportunities 

  • Support delivery of high-quality, decision-focused analysis 

Specific Role Responsibilities 

  • Manage growth budgets, revenue and pipeline tracking 

  • Analyse client/product profitability and key margin drivers 

  • Partner with teams on deals, pricing, and commercial strategy 

  • Provide insight on sales pipeline performance and conversion 

  • Support business cases, product investment decisions, and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to agreed commercial metrics and KPIs 

  • Deliver clear reporting and commentary to senior stakeholders 

  • Identify risks, opportunities, and actions to improve outcomes 

  • Ensure alignment across pipeline, forecast, and financial plans 

Experience Required 

  • CPA/CA preferred  

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience 

  • Knowledge of financial services 

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills 

  • Independent, self-directing and delivery focused working style; 

  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail 

  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, problem solve and analyse effectively 

  • Strong business partnering with Sales / Product / Ops  

  • Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients 

  • Organizational management is key 

  • Ability to work under pressure as part of an effective team
