What you'll be doing

As a member of the Debit Payments Product Management team, you’ll be responsible for supporting and executing the development of Interac Debit, Visa Debit and Visa Direct products to maximize product profitability while remaining competitive in the marketplace. As a Group Product Manager, you’ll manage and monitor key business metrics to both meet and exceed industry growth. This role will support the Payments modernization effort as a key team member while also supporting the core Debit Payments business. This role will also manage the Visa Direct product in conjunction with the Director of Debit Payments.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Product management - Strong knowledge and experience in product management, P&L, strategic planning, and project management sufficient to identify, develop, and implement approved initiatives (experience preferably in financial services).

  • Analytical - Understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas, and develop recommendations, often with minimal direction in order to respond to urgent business priorities.

  • Leadership - Developed management, influencing and leadership skills sufficient to achieve results within a matrix organization, including the ability to bring about change at a senior level.

  • Relationship management - Meet business objectives by managing relationships, supporting the team-effort and working effectively with internal and external partners.
