We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Group Financial Controller to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in our continued growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the group’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and managing successful external audits across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Manage and coordinate external audits across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring smooth collaboration with global audit partners
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, reporting processes, and internal policies across the group
  • Partner closely with the CFO to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Oversee accounting for all entities and consolidation including Purchase Price Allocation arising from acquired businesses, lead the associated Intangible Assets impairment tests, amortisation, depreciation, and other non-cash adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across regions, including North America and APAC, requiring flexibility in working hours
  • Demonstrating strong English communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international finance teams, auditors, and external partners
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members with a focus on collaboration, accuracy, trust and empathy
  • Support change initiatives and integration projects in a global, fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in accounting
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing consolidated financial statements
  • Experience managing external audit processes
  • Experience working in a multinational or multi-entity environment, with demonstrated international exposure
  • Willingness and flexibility to work across time zones, including liaising with colleagues in North America and APAC 
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across cultures
