As a Graphic Designer – Social Media Intern, you will work closely with the Creative team and Social Media Manager to help brainstorm, collaborate, shoot, edit, and design social-first content across platforms, primarily focusing on the Personal Creations and CafePress brands. This role is highly hands-on and fast-paced, supporting social media storytelling through strong visuals, motion, and thoughtful design. You should be a creative thinker, go-getter, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Experience in education with Adobe programs, typography, branding, social media. Photography and video editing experience is also a plus!

Our internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week, typically between 8 AM-5 PM. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the workday. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Creative team and Social Media Manager to brainstorm and develop social-first content concepts.
  • Design engaging graphics and visual assets for social media platforms, with a focus on Personal Creations and CafePress brands.
  • Assist in shooting, editing, and producing photo and video content optimized for social channels.
  • Create motion graphics and short-form video content to support social storytelling.
  • Support day-to-day social media content production in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Adapt creative assets for multiple platforms and formats (feed, stories, reels, etc.).
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, design styles, and platform best practices.
  • Support the creation of social media captions, including copy for posts, stories, and short-form video content.
  • Assist with additional creative and social media projects as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and or video editing tools.
  • Strong interest in social media, content creation, and visual storytelling.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive, go-getter mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating, brainstorming and taking creative feedback.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Benefits

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $20.00 an hour.
Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed primarily in a n office environment.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
  • Position requires regular, continuous use of a computer.
  • Position requires regular sitting and standing and walking.
  • Position requires regular interaction with team members through in-person meetings, phone calls, video conferencing, or email.
  • This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected in the office M, T & Th with optional work from home days Wednesday & Friday
