Job Description

• Demonstrated experience of integrating Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Essbase with Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Data Integrator products.
• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Data Integrator, Web Services and other middleware/gateway/web/application server technologies that could be used for enterprise integration architecture.
• Experience with analyzing data in source systems to identify data cleanliness issues (e.g. missing values, duplicate meanings, and invalid data)
• Experience with developing feedback processes to get corrupt data fixed in the source systems
• Experience with developing data extraction, transformation, and load programs (daily and initial load) functionality on a wide-range of data repositories (relational and multi-dimensional data stores)
• Experience with developing, implementing and maintaining schedule/dependency logic for Extract Transform Load (ETL) scripts
• Experience with developing monitoring and error notification processes to ensure data is updated as designed
• Experience with developing automation extraction, cleansing and load scripts
• Experience generating research models and reports (scheduled and ad-hoc)
• Experience in designing/developing an automated data distribution mechanism
• Full life-cycle data conversion experience using Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Essbase with Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Data Integrator products, including deployment experience
• Knowledge of various database structures including Oracle relational database and Essbase multi-dimensional databases.
• Able to work in a multi-project, multi-disciplinary enterprise environment seeking input and comment from other major initiatives.
• Experience developing system solutions using systems requirements for centralized financial planning and budgeting functions using tools/technologies specified under project requirements checklist.
• Demonstrated knowledge of generic system capabilities of government funding modeling and financial administration business activities.
• Experience working with both the business users and IT development teams to ensure business requirements are properly reflected in the system design, technical specifications and final solution.
• Experience in building system solution options and alternatives to establish client buy-in for the proposed solution.
• Demonstrated experience in building system solutions for the modernization of large complex multi-platform, multi-tier Information Technology Systems.
• Experience working in programs consisting of multiple highly inter-dependent projects.
• Experience developing system solutions using development tools under Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Essbase technology stack.
 
• Awareness of emerging IT trends and directions with regard to future versions of the products such that proposed solution is resilient to technology advancement.
• Proven ability to manage to successful completion an assignment of this nature, magnitude and complexity, and achieve the results on schedule.
• Experience working on projects within a multi-client/partner environment.
• Proven experience facilitating the resolution of I&IT issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge with SDLC and structured methodologies waterfall and iterative.
• Proven experience in clearly articulating how the proposed systems solutions meet the defined business systems requirements.
• A team player with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
• Experience in dealing with system solutions related to funding modeling, financial information management and web based n-tier technology implementation.
• Knowledge of, and experience with Government of Ontario Information Technology Standards (GO-ITS)
