We’re hiring a  Google Ads PPC Manager to own optimization and execution for all our Google Ads programs. You will own the end-to-end management and optimization of our Google Ads budget that drives traffic and sales for our unique products using rigorous analytical thinking, rapid iteration, and deep platform expertise to improve revenue, CPA, ROAS, and new customer acquisition. In this role, you'll oversee PPC ads for multiple product lines, working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. You will be working

  • Own and execute all Google ads campaigns including:
    • Campaign setup 
    • Budget allocation 
    • Keyword research and query level research
    • Asset group management
    • Ongoing optimization and QA
  • Campaign execution: Implement and manage Google ads campaigns directly on the ad platform with a deep understanding of SEM strategy and Google products (limited to no agency support)
  • Own ROAS, CPA, and revenue targets for both brand and non-brand PPC campaigns
  • Use the full suite of Google ads tools to achieve results including manual search campaigns
  • Write and optimize ad copy
  • Brief creative team on creative assets as needed
  • Manage the Google shopping center feed and optimize the feed to drive results
  • Manage campaign segmentation, audience selection, landing page optimization and conduct advanced ad performance analytics.
  • Monitor and adjust campaign budgets and bid strategies based on internal sales performance.
  • Independently and proactively seek out new opportunities for incremental improvements such as new campaigns, splitting campaigns, targeting new keywords, etc.
  • Proactively monitor performance and make ongoing optimizations as needed including budget reallocation.
  • Keyword research: Conduct weekly keyword analysis and research, including adding positive/negative keywords to our campaigns and dynamic ad targets to optimize performance.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments or A/B tests, iterating quickly to refine and scale tactics that profitably acquire customers.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team, development team, external consultants and vendors to improve marketing technology infrastructure.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of experience in PPC ads in a high-volume e-commerce environment, could be a mix of agency and client-side.
  • Proven ownership of $100k in monthly ad spend directly inside Google ads.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads and relevant experience planning and executing campaigns directly on the platforms.
  • Keen understanding of the pros and cons of different campaign types such as RSA, DSA, manual search and pmax.
  • Knowledge of GA4 and other analytics tools and systems.
  • Ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets and drive business decisions; naturally numerate/quantitative.
  • A results-driven, action-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity about stickers, printing, and how small businesses and personal users can leverage these products would be an asset
  • Ideally resides in GTA and will come into Toronto office each week, remote work is also possible
  • Authorized to live and work in Canada.
