About The Role
We are seeking established Senior Relationship Managers in various locations.
We are looking for Relationship Managers with a portable book of business: professionals whose client relationships are strong enough to follow them. You will be expected to begin onboarding clients from your existing network within your first months, while also prospecting new markets and attracting new clients.
The ideal candidates will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex client interactions across different time zones and cultures.
The candidate must have a proven track record of business development and sales to HNWI, Private Wealth Management, Asset Managers, Fund Managers, Family Offices, and other private investors, with demonstrable client loyalty that translates into transferable AUM. Experience ideally spans to both segments: private clients (HNWI) and institutional B2B relationships
Reporting Line - Regional Head of Sales
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a liaison to top-tier clients, including premium retail, high net worth individuals and institutional clients.
- Provide solutions to client inquiries while complying with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their needs, goals, and satisfaction levels.
Business Development:
- Onboard and activate clients from your existing network, and identify opportunities to expand services and solutions to existing clients.
- Collaborate with the Regional Head, Sales, and Marketing teams to formulate strategies aimed at enhancing client relationships and supporting business development.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to enhance business performance and client satisfaction
Problem Management and Resolution:
- Focus on managing wide-scale service issues and handling trade-related problems.
- Oversee trade and margin analysis, manage accounts and funding processes, and apply a strong understanding of cash markets, equities, and derivatives to support client needs.
- Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance client relationships and achieve business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and company goals.
Project Management:
- Oversee the delivery of services and solutions to clients, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
- Work in cross-functional teams to address client issues and deliver exceptional service.
- Monitor projects’ progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Internal Coordination:
- Coordinate with various internal departments, such as technical operations and programming, to analyze and escalate issues appropriately.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and agreements.
- Prepare regular reports on client status, project progress, and business development activities..
What Success Looks Like
- Month 1-6: activation of your existing client relationships and expected measurable net new AUM starting to materialise from third month onwards.
- Ongoing: expansion of your book through referrals and new-market prospecting.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a sales role in the financial services or investment industry
- A portable book of business: an established, loyal client base (HNWI, private wealth management, asset managers, fund managers, family offices and other private investors) ready to onboard with you.
- Proven experience in institutional B2B sales – building and managing relationships with institutional counterparties (asset managers, fund managers, wealth management firms, family offices) alongside private clients.
- Excellent knowledge of the securities market: stocks, ETFs, bonds, futures and options.
- Strong understanding of international business practices and cultural sensitivities.
- Motivation for developing business and high energy with a good sense of priorities and time management
- Fluent English. Additional languages will be an asset
