What You’ll Do

Create a mobility strategy/program , relocation support policies, and build incredible experiences during these transition periods for employees at SOTI who are relocating to and/or outside North America.

Act as an internal auditor to all practices, procedures and policies related to mobility and immigration and ensures alignment as per legal guidance and requirements

You will identify areas of opportunity within our current mobility and immigration process and level-up the overall experience for employees and managers who are supporting the transitions.

Partner with the P&C Partners, Talent Partners, Finance, managers, legal and other stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure immigration processes are delivered seamlessly.

Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel to navigate the complex legal and government regulations to provide a seamless experience

You will participate in various departments projects and initiatives
Qualifications
-
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
-
2-3 years of experience supporting employee programs preferably large scale
-
You have worked in a team coordination role and have expertise in immigration processes and managing the employee experience.

You understand the unique people / immigration challenges and have a working knowledge of employment law.

You have worked in a high-growth company and can effectively prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

You can design, develop and implement innovative solutions and are great at setting expectations.

You are comfortable navigating the grey and apply a figure-it-out attitude to solve problems.

You have broad experience in areas such as employee engagement with immigration policies, relocations, and policy creation.

You have experience with both Canadian immigration requirements and have a passion for creating great opportunities for people.
