Diamond Foundry seeks a seasoned General Counsel who will be the primary attorney responsible for various matters, including compliance, vendor contracts, global expansions, and more. As the company’s General Counsel, our global leaders will look to you for legal input, including risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on and can develop creative strategies to address legal issues, allowing for business flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sound advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders
  • Develop and deliver training on legal issues and contract processes.
  • Support on various corporate matters, including governance initiatives, strategic transactions, securities compliance, and other corporate matters.
  • Provide legal guidance on other aspects of the company's operations, including  IP, Employment Law, and occasionally real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance operations, to ensure legal compliance and risk management in all business areas, including Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Requirements

  •  Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and license to practice law in the U.S. with at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-growth tech company.
  • Outstanding analytical, drafting, negotiation, collaboration, written, and communication skills
  • Exceptional and pragmatic organizational,problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to execute both strategically and tactically. 
  • Flexibility and eagerness to work hard in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Service-oriented and responsive with highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people at all levels inside and outside the organization

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:

-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.

-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist,  climb, balance, stoop, squat,  kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. 

-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs

-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls

-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
