We are seeking a General Counsel to oversee all legal matters for the firm, including regulatory compliance, litigation, and the negotiation of critical contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all legal functions and provide strategic legal guidance to the executive team.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including software licensing, partnership, vendor, and procurement contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
  • Oversee intellectual property strategy, including patent and trademark filings and enforcement.
  • Advise on risk management and compliance, ensuring the organization mitigates legal exposure.
  • Monitor changes in legislation that may affect the organization and advise accordingly.
  • Provide training and support to staff on legal issues and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical legal advice that aligns with business goals.
  • Represent the company in negotiations and discussions with regulatory bodies, partners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law, software contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Active membership in a relevant Bar association.
  • Proven track record in negotiating complex agreements and managing legal risks.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law, especially in the software sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring legal teams is a plus.
