Collaborating with the AVP, AI Adoption, the Generative AI Project Manager is a consultative professional who can support our global Generative AI strategic transformation for our business.
How will you contribute:
Implement the adoption plan for Manulife’s multi-year Generative AI program, a major transformation program that aims to set up our organization to bring together the value promised from this capability, guided by a responsible framework to delivering significant business benefits.
This role involves coordinating with various partners to ensure the successful adoption and integration of GenAI tools and processes. Collaborate with Global and Segment Learning and Communications Groups, Advanced Analytics Leads, and leaders across Manulife.
As a part of a matrixed project team, our manager must effectively handle communications with key GenAI partners.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:

Analyze current productivity tools adoption rates across the organization. In partnership with Ambassadors and Champions, develop and implement targeted strategies for the adoption of GenAI productivity tools, such as ChatMFC and Copilot.

Lead and manage AI and GenAI projects.

Implement deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with Global learning team, design and implement the AI Ambassador and Champion network, and establish a collaborative forum.

Partner with AI Ambassadors and Champions to support them in promoting an AI-first approach and inspire innovation.

Develop engaging videos for colleagues to understand how to use productivity tools in their roles.

Curate a well-organized video library with a fresh look and feel of a social media content feed.

Conduct intake of custom Prompt-a-thon events with leaders, lead customization of the scenarios used in the sessions.

Support GenAI community with engaging video content.

Support development of AI Operating Model, i.e., a partnership model across Manulife with the goal of translating ideas into real, executable use cases.
Performance Management and Improvement:

Set leadership goals and track progress with scorecard critical metrics to guide ambassadorial and champion roles.

Evolve the AI Adoption dashboard (v.2).
Skills and Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience+ in consulting, project management, or change enablement, technology implementation (business user focus) or a related field.

Proven expertise in operating in both waterfall and agile project methodologies; PMP or CSM designation preferred.

Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.

Demonstrated ability to develop and complete strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

Experience in customer engagement and management driving AI innovations.

Proficiency in evaluating and integrating emerging GenAI technologies and tools.

Strong analytical skills with a consistent record of effective performance monitoring and reporting.

Experience in developing training events and materials to support AI adoption is a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
