WHAT’S ON OFFER

Reporting to the Engineering Development Manager, we are seeking a  Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer who can bridge the gap between scalable ML infrastructure and intuitive user-facing applications. This is a highly cross-functional role that works closely with our Platform, and Product teams to bring ML-powered features into production and deliver measurable business value to our clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Architect scalable data pipelines and secure, cloud-native infrastructure to support real-time and batch ML workflows
  • Rapidly prototype web applications and internal tools to test hypotheses and accelerate the productization of data-driven features
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data science teams to identify impactful use cases and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Translate complex machine learning and system design concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Apply modern ML techniques, including transformer-based models, embedding systems, and retrieval methods, to solve real-world problems
  • Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through clean, testable code, thoughtful architecture, and strong documentation practices

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years of experience delivering machine learning and software solutions in production environments, ideally in a full-stack or applied ML capacity
  • Strong understanding of core ML principles, with practical experience developing and deploying models that drive product or business value
  • Proven ability to go from idea to MVP using modern web frameworks and cloud platforms like AWS
  • Experience with modern ML techniques, including NLP pipelines, transformer architectures, and scalable vector search or retrieval systems.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with key libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, FastAPI, Dagster)
  • Strong coding and engineering fundamentals, including version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bonus: Experience working in GenAI, NLP, or building intelligent features within SaaS or B2B products

LOCATION

We are a remote first company with employees in both Canada and the US.  Our office hub is located downtown Toronto.  Team building, communication and social connectivity are important and we support this with virtual and in-person collaborative work sessions, team meetings and socials.
